Well its been a while since Thor (Chris Hemsworth) rocked worlds in The Avengers, reigniting a love for Marvel across the generations. Harking back to the supposedly destroyed race of Dark Elves led by Malekith, now reduced to tall tales after for eons of Asgardian civilisation. However when Jane Porter (Natalie Portman) falls through an anomaly searching for her absent Thor, she becomes infected with the Malekith's weapon of mass destruction the 'Aether'. Cue Thor's instant return to her side with tales of planetary convergence and dark matter swallowing all the nine 9 worlds.
With my delicate and offbeat tack, I review and test a myriad collection of gadgets and products. An occasional opinionated rant will be thrown in, when the moment strikes me. I also write The Watcher series, which is my own style of games reviews for all those non-players who find them selves glued to the latest storyline. It's only fair that they too are acknowledged as fans.

Knights of Badassdom ~ Cinema Review
It is rare that the reality of geek-dom crosses swords with the new fashion interest of nerds. Featuring the Dungeons and Dragons expansion of LARPING, real time role playing, this new film injects humour into the hobby. In fact it leaves with a strong sense that running around woods with a foam sword, shouting about healing potions and point, might actually be absolutely awesome! For such a blatantly mid range film it has no shame in its corniness and showcases some surprising famous faces.

Swan ST70100 Toaster Review
The Swan ST70100 Toaster is available in a range of colours to suit most kitchen décors and currently available singly for £25, the 2 slice toaster and a kettle for £45 or a 4 slice toaster and kettle for £55. With my latest purchase of classy kettle this was my 'free' toaster. Now I know I could have bought them separately in chrome for £10 less, but I'd be kicking myself if I missed out on my favourite blue!

Valentines Day 2014 Commercial or Cute
Ah the commercial annual event design to strike fear in the hearts of all and the pockets of many. Who would have believed that the death of a future Saint; condemned for consecrating forbidden marriages and tending to persecuted Christian's, would have ever become such a commercial money spinner.

Swan SK13110 Kettle Review
The Swan SK13110 kettle is available
in a range of colours to suit most kitchen décors and currently available singly
for £19.99, with a 2 slice toaster for £45 or with a 4 slice toaster for £55.
When my emergency (bought in a tea deprived panic), kettle sprung a sizeable
leak, I decided that I would have to fork out more than my usual £10. My
love of 'kitchen blue' mean that my choices were limited, but the reviews
seemed good so it was worth the risk.

Casecom CL-86 Case Controller Review
Is bigger better or just this years fashion craze? I gave up following the trends and watched from afar as gadgets and technology shrunk and expanded with the seasons. Whilst choosing a full sized computer case may seem like the last vestige of spacial luxury (or a mid 30's gentleman residing in the basement of his parental abode), there is a time and a place when nothing but the largest will suffice.
The Controller has long been a fan of overclocking (and generally filling his section of the house with assorted 'necessary' objects), and any in a similar position will understand the requirements to house such an obtuse beast (the computer, not The Controller!). Whether you opt for a massive air cooler, water cooling or simply need extra space for cable tidying and multiple graphics cards, there always seems a complaint with standard cases. Believe me when I say I think I have heard all of them, and the search for a reasonably priced case with massive stature was long over due.

ENDED [Celebration Competition For 5 Free Steam Games]
To celebrate my first year and passing the amazing milestone of 20,000 views I've decided to run my very first competition (so go easy on me!). I'm using Rafflecopter and I think I've managed to cover most of the social media outlets, if you have a different preference or any other suggestions, let me know for next time and I'll do my best to accommodate.

Slim Fit Crew Neck 3/4 Sleeve Top
At a mere £6 from the South range at Very.co.uk (and £3 in the current post Xmas sales!), this longer line t-shirt has been a staple of my work wardrobe for a while. Practical and hard wearing, the colour hasn't ran or faded at all. The sleeves make it suitable for the brisker days, to layer with shirts or cardigans, and the actual fabric is light enough for it to last into Summer (or a well heated office!).
