I'm a +BzzAgent +BzzAgent Den +BzzAgent Denise and love the benefits of testing new products for free and being the first to find out
about new gadgets and gimmicks.
This campaign is for Persil Bio Small and Mighty and it involves a 15 wash bottle of Bio Persil and 4x pass along sample boxes containing a 52ml sample sachet and a green Stain Eraser Ball for friends and family.
Persil is produced by +Unilever, which seems to have been responsible for a lot of the recent Bzz Campaigns ( +Dove +sure deodorant +Ben & Jerry's). I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or a bit of dodgy secret handshakes, but all I ask, is that you keep them coming! Persil is emphasising its stain busting powers through its products and its newly designed Stain Eraser Ball.
Its worth noting that there is a range of other products available with the Stain Eraser Ball. Whether your preference is a Non-Bio for sensitive skin or a 2-in-1 with a gorgeous scent there is still an option available. Obviously the pop out dispensers are all colour coded to match with the bottle design. They make a bold impact and would certainly be easily identifiable on a supermarket shelf. On a personal note I think I would prefer the Non-Bio version (simply to match my blue kitchen) but I do find my self drawn to the zingy orange bottle as well, who says you can't over accessorize!
The actual design of the dispenser is quite snazzy, the bottle being the holder makes it tougher to lose in the dark recesses under the sink (Note I didn't say impossible, just tougher!). It has a handy spout and little nodules to rub the liquid into the stains, as well as being quite soft silicon and flexible enough so it doesn't hurt your hands in use. Using it as a dosing ball is nothing more than common sense and there are indicator lines for 35ml and 52ml helpfully showing you exactly how much you would need depending on the wash size.
The Bottle looks incredible funky when the Stain Eraser Ball is removed, with the hole looking quite arty. The design also includes a level indicator line down the side, easy to see a glance how long you have before a shopping trip. The lid is flip up, which makes the 'child holding - one handed- must put a washing on' much easier than the traditional screw tops. Under the lid is a non drip spout, again all designed to make life just a little bit easier and less messy.
(The advert music is from a French band called M83, +M83 who also collaborated with the composer +Joseph Trapanese on the +Oblivion Soundtrack..... incase advert music also appeals to you.)
The stains are largely gone with only the pen really holding on for a second wash. Yet more clothes avoiding the painting pile, but this is light weight compared to some of the things I've come up against as a mum! Stains are day to day life and it is so great to find something up to the challenge.
This is a video of the contents of my initial Bzz campaign, so apologises for the recycling. In this video I had a little help trashing some white T-shirts with blackcurrant juice. The results were quite impressive, especially when the original stains were done in transit and had been left to dry in. I can only described it as ingrained with added extras.
Its at times like this I wish I'd done my reviews with a scoring system of sorts (but I'm not changing that now!). Presentation for this product is enough to to sell it to me, the liquid just needed to be as efficient as previous incarnations of Persil. The washing liquid is powerful and far from being a novelty gimmick the Stain Eraser Ball (scrubby thingy) made the whole process easier. The dispensing is a joy with idiot proof spouts and easy pour, this is definitely a product I would buy again. Now I just need to find somewhere that sells the pretty orange bottle!
On a side note when done with (and fully washed out obviously!) it will make a great bath toy for small children. The interesting shape combined with a child's natural curiosity will give hours of amusement.
