Box of OMG Review ~ Box 1

Box of OMG is from the individuals who brought us Box of Awesome . Aimed primarily at girls and advertised primarily through social media sites, this is another sure-fire popular craze. Companies have saw the proof of advertising in the first Boxes and have been more generous with this one. The box is filled with goodies, collectables and digital options.

First off is the Wear Share bracelet. A free sample from the company to showcase their custom Wearshare bracelets which use your Facebook and Instagram photographs to create a personal picture bracelet for you and a friend. There's an easy to follow instruction leaflet and a lovely gold sticker, you simple chose 7 pictures and order. If your unlucky enough to miss out on a box, there's an offer code at the end of the blog.

Next up from the makers of the extremely popular Tatty Teddy is one of the Blue Nose Friends. Cute and very soft, I received number 56, Blubbler the noisy walrus, part of a whole new range of collectables he is to retail for £5.00. You can check out the rest of the range at Tatty Teddy Toys, or join them on Facebook.

After the success of including a novel in the BOA1, I was happy to find this book by Susie Day. Pea's Book of Big Dreams. The second in her range of 11 year old Pea's adventures, following a little girls career decisions. There's more on books by the same author here.

Another repeat edition was a packet of sweets from The Jelly Bean Factory, although it is much smaller sample pack. I am gutted about the small size, but I'll still happily munch them all.

One Direction photocards were almost guaranteed to be popular with the target audience. This set of six include the usual posed shots and a couple with signatures. Coming from Panini the starter set with folder retails for £4.99 and the packet from £1.50. The packet came with a handy check-list for all 90 photocards making swapping and collecting handier.

Being a massive Doctor Who fan I was very impressed to see this Alien Attax trading card game collection from Topps. Retailing at £1.00 with optional tins and multipacks also available. Working on the standard trading card game of defence and attack points, this is new range designed for all BBC Doctor Who fans.

Also from the Topps company is the new range of Moshi Monsters Tattoo, which are available in 3 different strips, I received 19 and 36.
Also the Topps Moshi Monsters stickers, five in a pack, mine contained numbers; 8,14, 128, 132 and 157.

A new gimmick in the form of Makies a 3D personalized doll that you can design and save as many variations as you want for free using apps from your Ipad etc. There is also an option to purchase your own design as a real doll and an offer on the card for free glasses a saving of £4.99 on the doll. Although with the base cost of the blank doll being £69.99, its still a bit rich for most children.

There is also a code for a 3 day gold membership of MiniMonos, a virtual online world designed for eco-friendly children.

I liked this Box of OMG, the contents were varied and interesting. The first Digital Box of OMG contains an offer for Wear Share to buy one get one free with the code on this link.
The next digital download was an Ep from Youtube sensation Harrison. Containing 4 songs and two remixes:
Dirty Beat, Supermodel, Won't Stop, OVEREXPOSURE.

Feel free to sign up with them or follow them on any of the links below.
