Bzzagent Aero Mint Bubble Review

I'm a +BzzAgent +BzzAgent Den +BzzAgent Denise and love the benefits of testing new products for free and being the first to find out about new gadgets and gimmicks.

This campaign is for +mint aero  Aero Bubbles, and involves six full sized snack bags of Mint Aero Bubbles.

Originally launched in 1935 by Rowntree its fair to say that Aero's have been 'floating about' for a while now. The introduction of the mint variation in the 1970's led onto a range of other limited edition flavours such as Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, Strawberry and Orange Aeros. Sold to Nestle in 1988, the Aero brand has remained popular and in May 2012, Aero Orange and Aero Bubbles Orange were both introduced as a limited edition. Now they are back with a new advertising campaign aimed at the fun loving health conscious amongst us.
Aero Bubbly Chocolate Advert 2013
I love that the advert involves space hoppers, it gives a youthful, fun vibe to the marketing, whilst keeping it completely unisex.

The packaging is clear and vibrant and proudly states that its only 195 calories per bag a mere 10% of and adults GDA. Also marked is the lack of artificial colours, flavours and preservatives which is an added bonus for so many people these days. The wrapper is more robust than similar styles of chocolates and there is a good portion in each bag.

To my unrefined taste buds they don't seem to have changed from the limited edition range, though for accurate testing purposes, I still have to track down (and scoff!), the orange ones. The initial smell upon opening the bag is refreshing and minty, aesthetically they seem to suffer from very thin shells and there were a few forlorn cracked bubbles. Not that this effected the flavour in any way, but it did detract from texture of the melting outer giving way to the frothy interior. I believe Jason Lewis said it better in the 'Melt' advert Yummy Bubbly

I am a bit concerned with their suggestion of potential world domination on Aero Bubbles Facebook page. Aero Bubbly Chocolate. (But I keep following in the hope that the world domination will concern a free space hopper give away!)

However sadly there were no Pass-long coupons included in the Bzz campaign kit, so samples were limited to a select few, until I bought the larger sharing bag. I will admit to taking it a little personally that the orange ones are only available in the larger sized bags, hopefully this will be remedied with the re-introduction of the Bubbles. Let's hope that the New Bubbles will be here to stay for a while and perhaps even bring a new range of coloured Space Hoppers as well as flavours!
