There's also a competition at the end to win this months featured book, so keep reading!
In side the slightly cutesy box with the twee background story is all you need for every fans dream sleepover party. Set up with six of everything (because any more girls in one room and its a riot not a party!) the party revolves around the American theme of 'Homecoming'.
Personally translating it into 'Throne Coming' seems a little lazy, but it does appear to work because my little princess are desperate to go to the same fairy tale school. I suppose its no different to the desire to attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry expressed by my son for 4 years (and me to this day!)
Themed invitations and competition postcards with the chance to win one of the four main characters. Though the price of stamps being what it is I would have preferred a QR code or similar to enter online for free.
Now the Fortune Teller brought back some great childhood memories. I think everyone must have been shown how to make these at some point in their lives, though mine were a little cheekier ('you have a big nose' and 'you smell', gosh Primary 5 seems so long ago!). Can you tell that I've never done a printed one before? Making it inside out in front of my children is a mistake I'm not going to live down for a while! We got there in the end and despite my three year old refusing to say the numbers 4 and 5, it did amuse them for a lot longer than it really should have!
Then we have the masquerade ball masks, a simple design but definitely lends its self well to the princess theme, though the girls wanted different ones, so we might decorate the backs instead.
The bracelets were the favourite accessory, extremely cool idea using a two tone zip for a bracelet. Initially the clips were very stiff, and the release button being in the inside of the bracelet made it into a bit of a faff. The metal zip tags are a great idea, hard wearing and they look fab with the logo.
Last of all and this months competition book is Ever After High; The Unfairest of Them All, by New York Times best-selling author Shannon Hale. The world of fairy tales and what happens after the ominous line 'They lived happily ever after' is brought to life. The offspring from all our favourite stories are young teenagers all attending High School together, the trouble starts when some decide they don't want to follow in their parents footsteps and replay the stories. Who can really blame them when their parents are murdering nutters.
