Box of OMG Review ~ Box 4

This is the fourth (time really does fly!) Box of OMG  to land on our doorsteps. From the individuals who brought us Box of Awesome and aimed mainly at girls. Advertised primarily through social media sites, this is definitely growing in popularity. Companies have saw the proof of advertising in the first Boxes and have an interesting collection in this one. The box is filled with goodies, collectables and digital options.

Like in previous boxes there is a Moshi Monsters sticker pack, with 5 stickers one of which is quartered into smaller ones and a holographic sticker. There's also aMoshi Monsters mash up trading cards pack with 8 cards.
A leaflet for Punky Princess , an online club aimed at teenage girls, with news, gossip and
shopping of their brand related jewellery. This latest campaign is to highlight their Punky Princess Photo Booth App, a free to download program which allows customization of images through frames and logos. With a selection of 12 free 'stamps' and the ability to earn extra by sharing the images via social media, or purchase at 69p each. Aside from any issues with costs and social media sharing, it seems like a pretty cool app, clearly for younger teens, however my main grip would be that to download the app you have to have iTunes. At least that's what my android phone and laptop tell me, for me a deal breaker as I really don't need or want yet another app to allow me to download apps!
There is also a Jacqueline Wilson leaflet, detailing ideas for Christmas gifts and a scan QR code for her website. Which ties in nicely with the free book in this edition; A Jacqueline Wilson Pet Journal . A daily dairy/ journal aimed at young girls, it centers around owning a pet and leaves space for a mini scrapbook and images.

With a selection of stickers and a note area at the start and information on owning a pet and the responsibilities. A very cool idea to encourage writing in young children, it has sections written by the author. The graphics, by Nick Sharratt are clearly in style of her previous books, which would be a great present for any book fan.

Next up: An intriguing leaflet from the author Lauren Child. Achieving mass success with previous series Charlie and Lola UK and Clarice Bean, as well as nabbing a multitude of awards, she has started a new series. Ruby Redfort is a character introduced in Clarice Bean and is a successful spy and secret agent. The actual leaflet details the new release of the third in the series, with its 'bubblegum scented cover'. The first hardback edition, will be scented, possible one of the coolest things I've heard of in a long time!

Along with the leaflet there was a couple of cool blue rubber bracelets with the website, one to wear and one for a friend. I'll admit I missed this series, but I will fix that, even if its only to get a bubblegum scented book!

Last of all the BoxOfOMG merchandise and another very cool STABILO highlighter. Again in pink, but can you ever have enough dinky highlighters with cool little animals? Clearly a leftover from previous boxes, its still very cool

This box has been excessively pink, and actually seemed quite empty when I first opened it. But all in all its a great box, and one I was happy to receive. Though the disappearance of the shredded paper did miff me quite a bit. But I'm a little strange.

There are also 20 Punky Princess cases inside special boxes, and in the digital box, theres a chance to win one of five 1D This Is Us DVD's.
