With my delicate and offbeat tack, I review and test a myriad collection of gadgets and products. An occasional opinionated rant will be thrown in, when the moment strikes me. I also write The Watcher series, which is my own style of games reviews for all those non-players who find them selves glued to the latest storyline. It's only fair that they too are acknowledged as fans.

Insiders Canefresh Range Review
Not all product reviews are easy to share with the public and this one from Insiders was a clear example of creating awkward conversations.
This time I was testing the new range of products from Canesten, the box included Canesfresh Gentle Refreshing Mousse, Canesfresh Feminine Wash Soothing Wash Gel ,and 10 sample packs of Canesfresh Feminine Wipes.

House Hold Chores Burn Calories ~ Ideal for Women!
As stated on the Good Housekeeping website house work can have practical benefits for the modern day women. Shame they felt the need to start the article with a 1950's style image of a woman and young girl doing housework. Sexism excels again! Why do women need to combine their apparent two main goals in life!

Bzzagent La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra 40ml Review
I've been trying La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra as part of my latest Bzz campaign. A moisturiser designed for dry sensitive and reactive skin types from a company that uses pollution free spring water which has been in use for 1700 years (Obviously includes a healthy dose of unpronounceable chemicals as well).

Westminster ~ Bigots and the Globally Blind
First off let me state clearly that I not only have no respect for any for of terrorist or live taker. I believe that this attack was a disgusting act by someone who had no moral compass.
I also found the outpouring of pity to be largely hidden by the sheer mass of uneducated racists. Bigots that sought to monopolise on the fear by spouting their ridiculous beliefs. Beliefs that almost directly mirrored that of the ISIS terrorists.

New Lanark Visitor Centre ~ Review
Recently I discovered a lovely opportunity on Facebook for bloggers to visit New Lanark. Naturally I signed myself up for that. As a family we are regular visitors to the World Heritage Site (admittedly we usually tramp around the grounds and walks on sunnier days complete with a picnic), the chance to see the "touristy" bits was quite exciting.
Contact with Melissa Reilly the marketing and PR officer was smooth and very helpful. My tickets were waiting for me at the front desk, along with stickers, yup I'm sold now.

T2: Trainspotting ~ Movie Review
I obviously led a sheltered life, I was 24 when I first watched Trainspotting and I must admit it really wasn't my cup of tea. In fact the world it portrayed seemed too far fetched and insane to be realistic, I was honestly disgusted by the adult and mature content. I never understood the themes of friendship and the love of life that many others adored it for.
Now twenty years later the cast had regrouped to bring the cult fans some new material with T2 Trainspotting. Unfortunately this was an unmissable opportunity for an Anniversary date (I did manage to sidestep the double bill!).

How to Engage on Social Media ~ Awesome Author
Now for a little bit of back ground my eldest daughter has been fangirling over Cathy Cassidy; since we received information on her books in 2013 (initial blog), so just a little while. I admit to encouraging following of authors, musicians and artists online as I believe it's a great way to meet like minded people and keep up to date with new books and developing works. I know everyone leads such busy lives thats why I am always impressed when a role model takes the time to give something back to their fans.

Bon Giovi at Lanark Memorial Hall
Well a bright spot in a traditionally dull and dreary January is a child free night of freedom, and this night surpassed all others. Pre-xmas I had chanced upon a Bon Jovi tribute band playing my local Memorial Hall (Lanark) so tickets were booked and a babysitter arranged to see Bon Giovi.
I must admit with all the drama of frantic shopping and xmas prepping I almost forgot about what was going to be an outstanding night.
